New Zealand born producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, KINGS burst onto the scene in 2016 with his debut single ‘Don’t Worry ‘Bout It’. The track went on to become the biggest local release that year and surpassed the record for longest-running #1 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, spending 33 consecutive weeks at the top. ‘Don’t Worry ‘Bout It’ has sold TRIPLE platinum, had over 11 million streams and 2 million video views, and took home ‘Highest Selling New Zealand Single’ and ‘Radio Airplay Record of the Year’ at the 2017 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
KINGS’ cemented his big year by taking home ‘Breakthrough Artist of The Year’ at the 2016 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, as well as ‘Best Pacific Male Artist’, ‘Best Urban Artist’, ‘Best Producer’ at the Vodafone Pacific Music Awards.
KINGS returned in style 2017, displaying his musical dexterity independently releasing his debut album ‘Chapter One’ then followed it up with his second album ‘Two’, in early 2018, which featured the singles 'You Do' and ‘Temporary Me’, which saw KINGS receive an APRA Silver Scroll Award finalist nomination. The same year releasing a third album titled “LOV3 and 3GO” featuring Double Platinum hit “6 Figures”. His 4th Studio album also sees platinum success with his latest his “Help Me Out ft. Sons Of Zion”
Despite a seemingly overnight success, KINGS has been on the grind since 2010, writing, recording, mixing, mastering all his music under his self-run label Arch Angel Records.
